Let's talk - Schedule a Financial Systems Review
STUART + DUDLEY BOOKKEEPING
I didn’t set out to become a bookkeeper.
What began as a way to bring order to the chaos of small business finances became a natural extension of something I had spent my career doing: understanding how products are built, how money moves through production, and how strong businesses are actually run.
For nearly 25 years, I worked in the fashion industry on 7th Avenue in New York City, leading product development, sourcing, and manufacturing for global brands. My work focused on turning ideas into real products — coordinating factories, materials, timelines, and margins so collections were not only beautiful, but financially sound.
That experience taught me something fundamental: the numbers behind a product business must reflect the reality of how the work gets done.
Creativity and production are only sustainable when the financial structure supporting them is clear and well managed.
When life shifted, I stepped back from that world to focus on my son’s medical challenges — a season that redefined what success looked like and deepened my appreciation for calm, structure, and purpose and my passion for all things Made in the USA..
That perspective ultimately led me to build Stuart + Dudley Bookkeeping.
Today I work with manufacturers, producers, and product-based businesses — the companies that design, build, and make things.
My role is to bring structure to the financial systems behind businesses that make things so the numbers reflect how operations actually run. When the books are organized properly, owners gain a clearer understanding of margins, cash flow, and the true financial health of the business.
Because bookkeeping isn’t just about recording transactions.
It’s about building financial clarity that supports strong operations, confident decisions, and sustainable growth.
Let’s bring order to your books — and clarity to your business.
